If your interested in visiting historical places, may I suggest you visit the Sierra Maestra Mountains, the Turquino Peak which is the highest mountain top in Cuba or the La Plata Headquarters where Fidel and Ernesto Che Guevara fought and led the last war!

Granma, is definitely worth visiting as it is where the history of Cuba started! Playa Las Coloradas is where Fidel and other 81 revolutionaries landed. You can see a replica of the Granma Yacht which is the same size as the original and was a part of the last war of independence.

If you like seafood, Cabo Cruz just 5 miles from the Las Coloradas museum, is the perfect place! Fresh fish straight from the sea make this place very special. Manzanillo is a coastal city that also provides an extensive selection of seafood. Just 15 minutes further is the La Demajagua museum, where Carlos Manuel de Céspedes set his slaves slaves free and started the 10 Years War, also an historical attractive. There is a Monument in Dos Ríos, the place where the National Hero, José Martí died in combat in 1895, just 45 minutes from Bayamo.
